COVID-19 Crimes Against Our Children is a public indictment against the public health and elected officials, media, and education cabal who perpetrated the greatest case of child sacrifice in human history by closing schools and forcing masks on children during the COVID-19 pandemic. The book is written by international civil rights attorney, Patrick Donohue, from his perspective as:
- An attorney who filed the only national class action lawsuit to reopen schools in July 2020, against more than 15,000 school districts on behalf of 7 million special education students and their parents;
- An attorney who filed the most comprehensive statewide class action lawsuit against New York Governor Kathy Hochul for her illegal forcing of students to wear masks to attend school;
- The founder of one of the largest special education programs in the United States for children with brain injuries and brain-based disorders based in the epicenter of the pandemic in New York City;
- A citizen fighting for the rights of parents and their children; and
- The father of a special needs child.
This book provides an introspective examination of the COVID-19 pandemic, detailing the numerous ways that children have been systematically disenfranchised by way of school closures and mask mandates. From the start of the pandemic in Wuhan, China, to the surging number of adult COVID-19 cases in America—Donohue takes us through the years of tumultuous setbacks children faced during the pandemic, and how adults placed their fears and desires over the needs of their children. The purpose of the book is to hold the people and organizations who committed these crimes against children accountable.
Donohue is a long-time New York City resident, husband, and father. He completed his Bachelor’s degree at Rutgers College in 1992, with a triple major in Mathematics, Philosophy and Political Science. Donohue received his JD from Fordham Law School in 1997, which he completed in two and a half years while working full-time as the financial director for Republican George Pataki’s campaign to be New York governor. He has been licensed to practice law in New York State since 1999 and is admitted to practice in the US District Courts for the Southern and Eastern District of New York. Donohue went on to receive his MBA from New York University Stern School of Business in 2000. Donohue raised over $500 million for numerous political campaigns and causes throughout his career in politics.
Following the tragedy of his newborn daughter being violently shaken by her baby nurse, breaking her collarbones, four ribs, and causing a severe brain injury, Donohue retired from politics and began his longstanding work in Pediatric Acquired Brain Injury (PABI) law and policy. He founded the Sarah Jane Brain Foundation in 2007, a nonprofit named after his daughter that quickly grew into one of the largest brain injury organizations in the world.
Donohue is the founder and chairman of iBRAIN which consists of the International Academy for the Brain, one of the largest special education programs in the US to focus on students with brain injuries or brain-based disorders; as well as the International Institute for the Brain, which is focused on research to prevent, identify, treat, and eventually cure brain injuries and brain-based disorders; and the International Center for the Brain, which will be a rehabilitation center for the larger brain injury and brain-based disorder community, from cradle to grave. Donohue is also the founder and chairman of Brain Injury Rights Group (BIRG), a national nonprofit law firm and civil rights organization that offers pro-bono legal and advocacy services to the special needs community.
Donohue has spoken as a brain injury field expert at conferences around the world and has made numerous appearances in the media. He has appeared twice on The TODAY Show and his work has been covered by the New York Times, USA Today, the New York Law Journal, the Los Angeles Times, CNN, MSNBC, the New York Post, the New York Daily News, Reader’s Digest, and many other news outlets around the world.
In response to the COVID-19 crimes committed against children, Donohue has come out of political retirement to launch the national Parent Party, whose mission is to empower parents to take control of their children’s educations, by advocating for parental school choice, advocating for term limits for all elected officials, and empowering local law enforcement to keep communities safe by opposing radical Defund the Police efforts.
